The Shuswap is the lake region east of Kamloops, taking in the communities around Shuswap Lake and the arms that run off it.

Seasonal occupancy is the defining feature. A cabin sits closed for months, traps dry out, lines sit unused, and the first heavy weekend of the season puts a summer worth of load through a system nobody has looked at since last year.
